Movement of Serbian Chetniks "Ravna Gora" Bonnyrigg Sydney Australia

The Movement of Serbian Chetniks Ravna Gora, a World War II veterans association, was founded in 1954 by former combatants from the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. Having no desire to remain in communist Yugoslavia these veterans together with many families, elected to cross into northern Italy at the conclusion of World War II and eventually settled in Western Europe, North America, and Australia.

About Us

History of the Movement

The Movement of Serbian Chetniks Ravna Gora, a World War II veterans association, was founded in 1954 by former combatants from the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. Having no desire to remain in communist Yugoslavia these veterans together with many families, elected to cross into northern Italy at the conclusion of World War II and eventually settled in Western Europe, North America, and Australia.

In 2024 we celebrate the Movement’s 70th Anniversary and remember all its founding members and supporters past and present.
